Suzanne Travers founded Grapevine Group in 1992, and serves as the resident Recruiter Concierge. Suzanne’s personal mission statement is to help Exceptional Recruiters place Top Talent in Great Companies. 

 

Prior to starting Grapevine, Suzanne was an executive recruiter for an international executive recruitment consulting firm.  During her corporate career Suzanne had increasing responsibility in human resources and recruiting.  Positions included Director for Executive Development, Recruitment and Employee Relations. She attended the University of Pittsburgh and has completed advanced recruitment and interviewing programs at the University of Michigan and Cornell University.

 

Suzanne serves on an advisory board for the School of Marketing at the University of Florida.  She also volunteers for Canine Assistance an organization that trains service dogs for people with special needs.

 

Suzanne is one of the creators of CareerSeasons.com an online resource for professionals seeking career fulfillment.  Through CareerSeasons.com Suzanne and the Grapevine Team join other service providers to support professionals with everything from interviewing skills with the Phone Interview Boot Camp to learning how to build their professional brand through blogging.

Lynn Gargallo is an Account Manager at Grapevine Group.  Her recruiting experience spans a 15+ year period.  She began her career in temporary staffing, quickly working her way up from Staffing Coordinator, to Sales, to Branch Manager before making the transition to permanent placement recruiting.  Her diverse recruiting background includes sales, accounting, marketing, merchandising, administrative support, scientific, IT, customer service, and management.  Industry exposure is similarly broad and includes pharmaceutical, medical device, laboratory, retail, restaurant, information technology, and banking.

 

Currently Lynn serves as an Account Manager with The Grapevine Group, joining the firm in 2005.  Her responsibilities include account management, full life-cycle recruiting, and extensive cold calling.  Her dedication and passion for her work is evidenced through her ability to quickly connect with candidates and customers alike.

 

An Alabama native, Lynn grew up in Birmingham and received her bachelor’s degree in education from Jacksonville State University.  She now resides in Lawrenceville, GA with her husband and two children.

Colleen Gartenberg, Senior Manager Research Recruitment has over twelve years of research and recruitment experience within the retail, restaurant, hospitality, insurance, finance and pharmaceutical industries.  Colleen is responsible for conducting research recruitment, as well as training and supervising new and experienced team members.

Colleen joined the Grapevine Group is 2004.  In addition to account management responsibilities, Colleen trains and directs the research function within Grapevine Group.  She is a true professional and passionate about she does and truly cares about her clients. 

A Boston native, Colleen received a B.A. in Communications from St. Thomas University in Miami, FL.  She resides in Canton, GA with her husband and new baby daughter.

 rockyvRoberta Rochman, RN, MBA has joined Grapevine Group, Inc. and serves as a Partner focusing on the Healthcare Information Technology (HIT) market segment. In her 30 years as a registered nurse and healthcare informatics professional, she has a robust network of healthcare contacts. In her multi-faceted career, she has worked at hospitals and vendor organizations as well as with industry analysts and consultants. She continues to be involved with numerous professional organizations and associations.

 

Rochman has had proven success in a variety of national and international healthcare sectors including publicly traded software firms, not-for-profit and for-profit hospital environments. She is an influential public speaker, facilitator and educator. Her strength is to effectively converse and correspond with steering committee and board-level professionals at university, community and national hospitals, physician practices and healthcare delivery organizations.

 

Roberta is on the board of the local elementary school council, leads the cultural arts committee of the Parent Teachers Association, is active in the Chelko Foundation and writes for the Atlanta Examiner. She is a certified hypnosis-for-birthing practitioner and a registered yoga instructor.

Mark Thrapp has a significant background in a variety of Human Resource disciplines including executive recruitment/staffing, executive coaching, executive development and outplacement. Currently he serves as Manager of Recruiting for The Grapevine Group, serving as the chief research source and handling key client searches. Positions have varied widely in such diverse areas as VPs of Ecommerce, Physicians, Polymer Scientists, Sarbanes-Oxley attorneys, senior IT execs, Supply Chain executives, Marketing/Sales execs, International Risk managers, etc., with healthcare providers, biotech/pharmaceutical firms, retailers, manufacturing firms and financial institutions. Prior to joining The Grapevine Group he served as Director of National Recruiting for the HayGroup, an international Human Resource consulting firm in Philadelphia (2000-2002).
Earlier, he founded with three partners, a retained executive recruiting firm (ESCI) in New York City headquartered in the Empire State Building (1994-2000). Well-known clients included Time-Life, The Limited, Office Depot, GE, PWC, Citibank, Andersen Consulting, The Limited, etc. for senior executives.  Numerous searches were conducted for smaller firms such as the National Association for Specialty Food Traders (NASFT), Steve Madden Shoes, etc.  He has filled roles ranging from manager/director levels and project managers to Fortune 500 Controllers, CIOs, VPs and CEOs.
 
He had a thirteen-year tenure as Manager of Executive Recruiting and then VP of the executive recruiting division (EPC) for R.H. Macy & Co.  He served as Director of Executive Search for Federated Department Stores from ’78-’81 and had been with Marriott Hotels in a generalist HR capacity prior to that time.

 

Mark enjoys home restoration (two Victorian homes) and an avocation in antiques, having owned two antique stores and an 1854 bed & breakfast.
